Set-up by Sir Paul Judge in March 2009, The Jury Team is a new political movement determined to bring an end to the corruption of our Political System by providing the public with a real choice – independent, ordinary people (like you) who will work for your benefit, not to line their own pockets.

The Jury Team can be thought of in simple terms as "anti-corruption" and "pro real democracy". All candidates have signed up to support a set of broad proposals that are designed to ensure the political system is cleaned up and works for the benefits of the public at large.

1. End of the Party Whips
2. Transparent Pay for MPs and MEPs
3. An independent Politicians Complaints Commission
4. Capping donations to political parties
5. Elected Select Committees
6. European Legislation applied appropriately
7. Term limits for MPs and MEPs
8. General elections every five years
9. Referendums as requested by 5% of the electorate
10. Government departments run by a Board
11. Independent publication of Government statistics
12. Applying these principles

It is interesting to see that MPs from other parties are now starting to talk about many of our proposals in the aftermath of the recent expenses scandals!

Beyond these proposals, we are all independent-minded people and, unlike most of the main party MPs, we are totally free to speak our mind and support any issues we see fit - meaning we can represent you much better!
